Reblochon

A soft, washed-rind, smear-ripened, round cheese, Reblochon, which is produced in Haute-Savoie, holds an AOC certificate (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée - Controlled Designation of Origin) guaranteeing both its place of origin and the traditional methods by which it is made. Milk from only three breeds of cow is used: the Abondance, the Montbéliard and the Tarine. Reblochon is an exceptional cheese, with a thin, saffron-yellow rind, a creamy texture, a nutty taste and a unique aroma of fresh grass and Alpine flowers.
